Today I've got some pictures of these unique lashes from Shimmer Twins! I have the Red Cluster Heart and the Silver Star lashes. Both of these run at £15 a pop and are available for order at Asos.com
They are quite neat if you wanted to add a special touch to a costume or for a fancy dress party. The lashes themselves are synthetic and the band is quite thick, meaning they are a bit trickier than natural hair lashes to put on. The stars and the hearts are glued on to the lashes. I imagine a craftier person than I might be able to make lashes like these themselves.
I'm still trying to think of an appropriate look to use these for in a video!
What do you think - how would you wear these lashes? Let me know in the comments!
£15 for a pair of synthetic lashes with confetti glued on? No thank you. My 8 year old niece could make these.
ReplyDeleteThese are perfect for raves, especially the shiny star pair. I'm not sure how many other gogo dancers follow you, but extravagant, decorated falsies are always a great addition to any make up for electronic dance music (EDM) shows.
ReplyDeleteFor the second pair, you might do a glam rock look ;)
ReplyDeleteThe heart shaped ones ofcourse for a Valentines Day look, and the ones with the stars for a Christmas or New Years Eve look :)
ReplyDeleteWow, they're really awesome! Where'd you get them from?
ReplyDeletethe stars would be awesome for a KISS starchild look
ReplyDeleteQueen of Hearts and Jem!! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, they are amazing!
ReplyDeleteGlitter defanatly...... the reflects would be awesome with any color but because I <3 peachie colors I would wear them with orange, red, pink punk looks maybe....oh so many ideas flush through my mind

ReplyDeleteExtravagant!! But the hearts are so cute =)

Die sehen wirklich toll aus, aber mir fällt kein Anlass ein zudem ich sie tragen könnte.
ReplyDeleteIn the Hunger Games movie, the women of the Capital City have extravagant eyelashes and these would be a perfect fit! Can't wait to see what you do with them!
ReplyDeleteWOW.... I can only think of them to a artistic look (or bight look to a very specific club) or halloween.
ReplyDeleteThe heart can be used to a queen of hearts look either!
ReplyDeleteReally fun for raves!!
ReplyDeleteSo awesome! I'd love to see what they look like on!
ReplyDeleteThey would be fun, but I am trying to just get used to regular lashes, so this would all over getting used to.
ReplyDeleteI usually don´t wear false lashes, but the once with the stars is the pair I acctually could think to try out. I think both pairs are really over the top so the makeup I would match it to would be a bit toned down but still a bit smokey in the outer corner of the eye. I belive I would use colours like purple, orange and/or peach to the stars lashes.
ReplyDeletethey're pretty, but they're better suited for a fashion editorial than regular life. =) or maybe if I want to be Cupid for halloween. :D
ReplyDeleteHalloween or a costumey look for a special themed party... love the idea of a rock theme for the star lashes and a cupid or very sexy/innocent for the heart ones.
ReplyDeleteI´m thinking like some kind of futuristic/space look for the stars.. or maybe modern japanese look..
ReplyDeleteWow, they're really fun! love them:)
ReplyDeleteThe stars are really cute. They seem like they might be irritating to wear tho. I might have to glue stars to some falsies I have to try....
