Bedhead Hair Tutorial

This is one of my favorite ways to style my hair, especially on that second day after I've straightened my hair. At that point my hair usually looks rather flat, lifeless and boring, but since I don't wash my hair everyday I have to come up with a way to make it look interesting. THIS is my go-to technique in that instance. I don't like perfect looking hair, as if you're getting ready to go to prom. I love hair with texture, and it's much easier to work with the day after washing.

Check out my tutorial below on how to achieve this sexy, tousled and disheveled "bedhead" look!

Products I used:

GHD Hair straightener
Baby powder (or dry shampoo)
L'Oréal EverStyle Smooth & Shine Serum
Schwarzkopf got2b Powder'Ful Styling Powder
Balea Trend It Up Mattifying Styling Paste (from DM in Germany)
L'Oréal Elnett hairspray

Nailpolish: Illamasqua - Jo'Mina

I never knew you could baby powder to reduce the oil in your hair....I always dreadded straightening my hair just for the simple fact after the next day my hair is oily....does it matter what baby powder it is or does it have to be a specific type?? Btw I love your tutorials and came across them when I was trying find a tutorial on how to shape eyebrows....keep up the great work :-)

I did kno you could use baby powder to help wit oily hair...that was one of the reasons why I disliked straightening my hair because within a day it was oily...good to know...is there a specific baby powder or does it really not matter

Excellent tutorial. I really want to try this. But does anyone know how well it holds up during the day? Not sure what I am doing wrong but whenever I style like this my hair ends up kind of flat around lunchtime.
