BEFORE:
AFTER!
On the last image you can see my overflowing brush holder (I need to make a new one since I've acquired many new brushes since its inception), my q-tip jar, random mascaras, eyeliners and lip pencils. The three bottles are (left to right) spray toner, foundation filled into a pump dispenser, and MAC brush cleanser in a spray container.
Feeling much better already! Now I just need to tackle the laundry stacking up on the couch behind. :p
hehe its like spring cleaning!! i hope you'll want to do more looks now!
ReplyDeleteLove your brush holder! Cute!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking face lift ;) (Does that mean new videos are on their way?)
ReplyDelete* For some reason, the most interesting thing is this fabulous stack of great looking books. Can you tell I am more of a bookworm than a make-up geek... (no pun intended) ?
lol great job! mine would never look that good if i tired! lol mines ALWAYS MESSY!
ReplyDeleteI so need to clean up my vanity! i'm hoping to do it this weekend.
ReplyDeleteSidenote- I'm having a giveaway for some ManGlaze matte polishes. If you're interested just check out my blog!
It looks amazing ! yeah i feel the same way, mine is a mess.. ofcorse mine is my desk so :S haha
ReplyDeleteLove your vanity! I try to keep mine clean, but by the end its a mess.
ReplyDeletehi julia! I like your vanity table..and your brush holder too! I just have a question, doesn't the brushes get easily dirty with dust if it is stored in an open place like that? thanx! :)
ReplyDeleteCleaning is awesome when the mood strikes.
ReplyDelete"So I decided to tackle that bitch"
LMFAO!!
Love that you have lipstick marks on the paper towels. That made me smile.
ReplyDeleteActually those paper towels are printed with red kiss lips! Haha, it was some special Valentine's Day edition print I think, lol.
ReplyDeleteThe brushes would get dusty if you don't use them frequently but I use and wash my brushes so much so I haven't found that to be a problem. It depends how often you would use them I guess.
Your vanity area looks nice...I need to make a new brush holder, too, mine's over flowing as well.
ReplyDeleteReminds me to clean my desk...all those books and random makeups and papers aaah xDD
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I always admire how you are able to take precise pictures of your makeup. The colors look vibrant, but when I took mine, it always look washed out. How do you keep your pictures true to its colors? I hope you could enlighten me with your awesome photography skills~
Thank you so much :D
hi, i was wondering if u could show us how to get a make up that looks natural and not trying so hard. probably subtle color?
ReplyDeletei just got that awsome and really old sewmaschine (i am addicted to ebay!!!) which you can ground in the table. i made a vanity out of it - the table i mean. it's really pretty!
ReplyDeletewhat i wanted to ask you, have you tried these brushes from sigma everyone is talking about at the moment? are they really as good as the mac ones???
Hey, bravo ! Nice work !
ReplyDeleteLOL Spring Cleaning is the gift and the curse! I am sure you feel much better now that its been tackled though. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteYOU GAVE ME INSPIRATION TO DO MY LAUNDRY AND CLEAN MY VANITY ALSO!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOUUUUUU
your brush holder is SO cute! i've been using vintage teacups and now i'm way over-crowded. i'm stealing your idea <3
ReplyDeleteI would die for a vanity like that. I need my husband to get on board. When we get our house I'm going to push for a "makeup" room. LOL! Congrats on the clean up job!
ReplyDeletebut then the brushes will collect dust easily :(
ReplyDeletei adore your vanity table
ReplyDeleteit makes me want to get one for myself
but i was thinking of shopping around for a second-hand wooden desk that has an antique shabby look to it!
great blog :)
Where did you get that cute figurine of the lady? I've seen that in someone eleses site but can't remember where. Name of it would be helpful.
ReplyDeleteLoving your blog and Youtube channel!
The figurine is one of the dolls that was sold by MAC with the Fafi collection, it's a miniature Fafinette doll. They are basically collector's items now. :)
ReplyDeletewow your vanity is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI need this for my birthday....Finally I have something ask for, for a present!
ReplyDeletehey why do we need to stand our brushes up? as seen in your pictures that your brushes are in a glass standing up? why cant we put it down?
