I've had a lot of requests to do a look using the Urban Decay Naked Palette, as this seems to be a really popular purchase at the moment. I don't often do neutral makeup tutorials, but I think you can get a lot of use out of this palette if you're into brown and neutral colors. Here's a really easy look using this palette that would be very suitable for daytime wear. I also do a quick review of the palette at the end of the video with my general thoughts of this palette.
Face:
Lancome Teint Idole foundation mixed with MAC White airbrush foundation, MAC MSF in Stereo Rose
Eyes:
Urban Decay Naked Palette, Lancome Artliner, Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara, MAC Brows in Lingering
Lips:
MAC Brave lipstick
Nails:
OPI - We'll Always Have Paris

wow~that's a great neutral look with this palette:)
ReplyDeleteOmg...thank you for doing a look on this. Have you gotten any of the Tartan palettes from MAC?
ReplyDeleteHi there, You are lovely and I really like your tutorials. What eyeshadow brush are you using in this one?
ReplyDeleteAgain, thank you. You are really skilled!
Sooo pretty. Love it. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Julia,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Brandi. I just sort of "stumbled" across your videos on facebook through my friends' profile and I have been hooked ever since. Your videos are wonderfully done & very informative. In fact, I catch myself checking my facebook daily JUST to see if you have posted anything new :-)
On a side-note...I was curious, did you actually go through any cosmetology classes or schooling to learn your techniques and methods of application or is it all just things you have developed with your own personal interest in beauty? (I wasn't sure if you had already answered this question yet.)
Anyway, I would love to hear back from you if you ever get the chance to reply. Thanks for the awesome tutorials!
always,
new fan

Such a wearable glam look ! Gorgeous
ReplyDeleteGreat look, I love neutral tones :) I wish I could get that palette in Switzerland.
ReplyDeleteI like neutral tones as they work very well with my blueish-grey-green eyes and neutral eyeshadows are great for business-related things. The Naked palette is amazing and very practical for these occasions. :-)
ReplyDeleteEspecially when I'm traveling. I can do a nice and toned down look for the day and just deepen the look for the evening in case the meeting moves to a restaurant or so. And I only have to pack this one palette instead of moving things around in my MAC-palettes and pack a few other eyeshadows as well.
gorgeous! i might have to try this today :)
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, this makes your eye color pop even more! :D
ReplyDeletei was excited about this palette but now that i have it i'm not really impressed. i have cheaper palettes with better pigmentation.urban decay has let me down with this one.
